AmneziaVPN is a multi-protocol, open-source VPN client with the option to set up your own server. The main difference between AmneziaVPN and other VPN solutions is that the AmneziaVPN project is not a VPN service, it is simply a provider of free open-source VPN software.

AmneziaVPN provides two basic scenarios for the initial setup of a new server - a wizard mode for general users with no knowledge of VPN protocols, and a mode for advanced users, where you can select the desired VPN protocol from a list of supported protocols.

AmneziaVPN for iOS provides users with the following features:
- connect by connection code, by config file, scanning a QR code, restoring a backup config if you have one, or setting up your own VPS server.
- select and set the protocols manually or use the "Wizard" function to configure them automatically based on the level of censorship in your country.
- install the following protocols and containers on the server: OpenVPN, OpenVPN over Shadowsocks, OpenVPN over Cloak, WireGuard, IPsec, DNS server.
- connect to the VPN server by OpenVPN, WireGuard, and Cloak (VPN masking) protocols.
- share the configuration with his friends and relatives using the share function.
